I don't want to pretend to be someone I'm not.
I wear my heart on my sleeves all the time and people are able to read me like a book.
The harder I try to avoid my feelings, the harder it hits, like a recurring high tide hitting the shores.

I'm learning, learning to be a better me.
The past was daunting & terrifying and I need more than just a little light to walk out from it.
As much as I hope for a little more, I'll leave it to where it'll take me.
